Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec Estampes & Affiches
From his studio in Montmartre, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864 - 1901) portrayed the light and shadow of people living amid the glitz and bustle of the entertainment district of late19th-century Paris. The Bibliothèque nationale de France houses a large collection of Toulouse-Lautrec works gifted to the nation by family and friends after the artist’s death. This exhibition showcased his posters and lithographs from this collection, including important states and proofs.
